ARCANEGEOPOLITICS

The game is real. The board is the world.

Cade Korven thought his mentor left him a video game company. Then the sky tore open, magic flooded the world, and he learned what he'd really inherited: the blueprint for humanity's survival. Now he's playing on a scale no game ever prepared him for — a rookie faction on a board owned by superpowers.

The Story

A rookie faction on a board owned by superpowers.

Mike Vox was a legend — the visionary behind Arcane Crucible, the global phenomenon about a world transformed by magic. When he died, he left his protégé the studio, the legacy, and a grief Cade is still carrying a year later.

Then the sky over Alberta tears open. Mana floods into the world, exactly the way the game predicted, and a posthumous message reveals what Cade really inherited: Mike Vox was never human, the game was never just entertainment, and hidden beneath the company is the blueprint for humanity's survival — alien technology, impossible weapons, and a mountain fortress built beneath the largest rupture on Earth. An invasion is coming. The world has ten years to prepare.

Cade spent his life mastering games. Now he's playing on a scale none of them ever prepared him for. As ruptures spread across the globe and nations scramble for power in a transformed world, his fledgling faction must hold its ground where every alliance has a price, every player has an agenda, and the most dangerous moves are the ones you never see coming.

The game is real. The board is the world. And the clock is ticking.
